Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form and I will aim to be in touch within 2 hours during business hours. Have no idea on exactly what you want? No worries I will help guide you through all the steps and options.

On average the making of the bag will take from 2-5 weeks. None of our steps are rushed, and I will take the time to make sure every detail is to our standards. The whole process can take upwards of 8 weeks.

Our price ranges start from $600 for small leather goods, $3,000 for small/medium bags, $4,000 for briefcases and $5,000 for larger bags and travel bags. The price will be confirmed once I know the exact leather and complexity of the design.

Before we cut into any material we require a 50% deposit. It is required after the consultation phase. The remaining 50% is required to see your bag/good sent off to you/picked up.

I produce, design and prototype everything under one roof in the High Park area of Toronto. It is all made by Martin from start to finish.

I source leathers from all around the world. Always looking for the most sustainable, durable, rich and beautiful leathers. Notable tanneries include Horween, Sedgwick, La Bretagna Conceria and Wickett & Craig.

The hardware is selected based on appearance, long standing durability and repairability. Most hardware is made from brass with some exceptions including stainless steel or rare cases of plastics for lightweight alternatives.

Delivery is available in any country. We ship Canada Post for Domestic and DHL for international.

Yes! The PORTMAN Spa is our aftercare Service that ensures your PORTMAN object can last and look good for as long as possible. Only entrust your goods with us to guarantee correct maintenance and repairs.
How I work sustainably
This isn’t just a business, its the way I work. PORTMAN uses sustainably sourced packaging, solar panels for power when applicable, reusable materials in our workshop and LED lighting.
Being a small scale Bespoke leather goods manufacturer also means very little waste, with off cuts for prototyping and material testing.
