The Bespoke Service is my full experience where I work with you to create your own one of a kind piece.

The PORTMAN Spa Service is my aftercare and involves options such as cleaning, regular maintenance and restoration using my own patterns and leathers.

Getting started is simple. Reach out through my email sales@portmanleather.com and I will aim to be in touch within 2 hours during business hours. Have no idea on exactly what you want? No worries, I will help guide you through all the steps and options.

Lead times vary depending on the piece. Most pieces take 6–9 weeks. The more complex designs take 10–14 weeks. I never rush any step, and I take the time to make sure every detail is to my standards. The whole process from consultation to delivery can take upwards of 3–4 months.

My price ranges start from $1,500–$2,000 for small leather goods, $4,500–$7,000 for medium bags, $8,000–$10,000 for briefcases, and $7,000–$14,000 for larger bags and travel bags. The exact price will be confirmed once I know the leather, complexity of the design, and any customization. All prices reflect the time and materials required.

Before I cut into any material I require a 50% deposit. It is required after the consultation phase. The remaining 50% is due when your piece is ready to ship or be picked up.

I produce, design and prototype everything under one roof in the High Park area of Toronto. It is all made by me from start to finish.

I try my best to be honest, transparent and collaborative. I am always open to new ideas and love to share my passion for creating quality leather goods that will last.

I source leathers from all around the world. I'm always looking for the most sustainable, durable, rich and beautiful leathers. Notable tanneries include Horween, Sedgwick, La Bretagna Conceria and Wickett & Craig. I work with exotic leathers including lizard, ostrich, python, and stingray, sourced from Canadian suppliers who handle all legal compliance and traceability.

The hardware is selected based on appearance, long-standing durability and repairability. Most hardware is made from brass with some exceptions including stainless steel or rare cases of plastics for lightweight alternatives. All hardware is sourced with longevity in mind, it should outlast the piece itself.

Delivery is available in any country. I ship Canada Post for domestic orders and DHL for international.
