A bespoke bag is an extension of the person. To have something made for you, only you. It’s the balancing game of leathers, styles, constructions and flow, that has always excited the mind behind the bags.
The Journey of acquiring a Bespoke PORTMAN Bag
It all begins with scheduling our first Bespoke Appointment. During this introductory meeting I will explain our models, the perfect leather, colour, hardware and more.
With complete control of every stage in design and production, there’s never any detail too small to consider. Personalized initials or monograms are just some of the many possible customizations.
Once I have finalized your design, a deposit will secure your spot in the production schedule (current lead time is approximately 8-12 weeks).
All throughout the intensive hand work processes, you will always be first to receive updates and share regular details about your piece. You will witness your own artwork come to life. The final masterpiece is a true testament to the hours of work, attention to detail, and dedication to craft and tradition only found in leather craft.
The Aftercare Service
With your goods delivered, its now time to start using and enjoying your one of a kind piece! PORTMAN offers complete aftercare services with our PORTMAN Spa Service.
Your piece will include basic information about how to store and properly maintain your piece. I recommend bringing your piece once every year or two. I will clean and restore your piece and if required after many years, I have all the tools and equipment to repair any parts of your bag/good.
If you choose to pick up your bag at our small boutique I can also show you the best way to maintain your bag, and give you small hidden details and secrets about them too.
